The Church of Bones is not for the fainthearted.
In the suburbs of Kutna Hora, Czech Republic, stands a church built in the 15th century. Although it looks ordinary from the outside, its interior will likely chill you to the bone.
In 1278, a king sent the abbot of a monastery to Jerusalem. He returned with some soil from the Holy Land and sprinkled it in the monastery's cemetery. This made it a popular resting place for people across Central Europe.
Following the Black Death and several wars, the cemetery ran out of space to bury more bodies.
